There is still time to register for the Shining Star Talent Search!
This event is presented by the Lake City Columbia County/Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, March 25.
There are three categories: Youth , up to age 12; Junior, ages 13 to 17; and Senior, 18 and older.
The winner in each category will get a $500 promotional services package, provided by Starlight Studios. It will include a CD or video demo with several of their songs or their performance to use as portfolio.
The entry fee is $25.
Tickets to attend the talent show, presented at the School Board Auditorium, are $7 at the door or $5 in advance. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce.
There will be a special performance by singer Crystal Black. She is not a contestant.
